This vintage Halloween party playlist is full of spooky tunes to get you in the mood, whether you’re hosting a stay-at-home Halloween party or just want something fun to listen to while you carve pumpkins. There’s at least an hour’s worth of Halloween music for your listening pleasure, with songs from the 1930s through the early 1970s.

When I’m not listening to old records on my record player, I like discovering new stations and making playlists on Spotify. There’s so much old music there to discover. It also seems like the easiest way for people to enjoy music these days, so all of the songs on this vintage Halloween playlist can be found on Spotify.

Here’s me channeling Morticia Addams as I find the perfect, moody record to play.

This playlist has helped me get into the Halloween spirit this month, even if I’m not venturing out much. I’ve been having fun dreaming up spooky costumes and concepts that I’ve shared on Instagram. If you need costume inspiration, check out my post on last-minute Halloween costumes you can make with clothing you already own. My husband and I usually take our costume-planning pretty seriously so if you’re planning a couples or group costume, I have ideas for vintage-inspired Halloween couples costumes. And now, on to the music.
